Morecambe Lecture |
| There being no candidate for the latest meeting of Morecambe Mark Lodge No 716 it fell to WM Nick Baxter to deliver a couple of lectures. |

| The lectures were entitled “Mark Ritual” and “The Working Tools.” They both proved interesting and qualified as giving a daily advancement in masonic knowledge. |
| Amongst the attentive spectators were three other masters of Mark lodges, Les Newlands of Scorton Mark Lodge No 1103, Graham Benson of The Furness Mark Lodge No 36 and Steve Thackrah of Prince Setanta Mark Lodge No 1446. |

| Considering that the weather was bitterly cold the turn-out was good with quite a number of visitors. On the evening a candidate was proposed for advancement. |
| The venture from the warm living room to travel to the lodge in the freezing conditions was made very worthwhile as a convivial evening with good food and company was enjoyed by all. |
